Senior MSgt (Ret) David E. Jellison, 85, of Wichita Falls died Sunday, March 17, 2013 at his home. A graveside service has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 22, 2013 at Crestview Memorial Park in the Garden of Faith directed by Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
David was born May 30, 1927 to Rudolph I. and Nancy Jane (Clauson) Jellison in Coraopolis, PA. October 22, 1957 he married Maria Schnitzer in Germany and together they raised one son. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during WWII, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam War. David was a member of the DAV and the VFW and loved getting together with his coffee buddies.
Mr. Jellison is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria in 2005; parents, Rudy and Nancy Jellison; sisters, Marie Frances Carroll, Sydney Ann Foster, Alice Ruppel, Pauline Cummiskey, Nancy Jane Baker, Susan Jellison; and brothers, Jeff Jellison, John Norman Jellison, Rudy Jellison, Alfred Jellison, and Clyde Jellison.
Survivors include his son, David Jellison Jr. and wife Hanna of Wichita Falls; sister, Jean Delores Howley of Circleville, OH; and several nieces and nephews.
