Bob graduated from Wichita Falls Senior High School and attended Midwestern State University. His career began with Sandoz Pharmaceuticals as a Pharmaceutical Rep, earning many awards, including Senior Professional Representative, a highly prestigious award few employees receive.
Bob was very active and involved in the community. He was a member of the Kiowa Kooks, a group of individuals who cook for non-profit organizations to raise funds for MSU scholarships. He had a passion for running and was an active member of the Wichita Falls Runners Club. He ran many 10K, half marathons, and marathons including the Boston Marathon.
He volunteered for Interfaith Ministries, as a board member and then as the board president. While at Interfaith he was instrumental in leading others to raise funds to build a new building and provide a better environment to assist needy members of the Wichita Falls community.
In addition, he volunteered for the Kemp Center for the Arts and became a board president. He led the board in supporting the inclusion of the Woman's Forum as an extension of the Kemp.
