Robert Richard Hanneman, Sr.

Robert R. Hanneman, Sr. – (Whiting) On Sunday, September 1, 2024, we lost Robert R. Hanneman, Sr. Bob grew up in Ocean Beach III and was a life-long resident of Ocean County. He graduated from Toms River High School in 1960 and immediately joined the Navy. He eventually went on to get his Associates degree later in life.

Bob enjoyed the beach his entire life while living in and around the Ocean County area as well as owning property in Florida.

Bob was predeceased by Beatrice Hanneman and Barbarann Moran. He is survived by his sister, Ginny; his children, Mark, Jay, Michelle, Robert Jr., Larry and Vicki. He is also survived by his long-time partner and companion Linda. Bob has a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly as he was a very big family man. Bob still enjoyed talking with and getting together with friends from high school.

A Memorial Gathering for Bob will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Rd, Whiting, New Jersey 08759, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request considering a donation in Bob's name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
