Donald E. Whitfield, age 96, of Whiting, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.
He was born in Altoona, Pa. He served in the Signal Corps, later graduating from Drexel University. He worked for RCA, Moorestown for 34 years.
He is survived by daughter Dorothy Slothower, of Lancaster PA, son James of Toms River, son Steven of Whiting and their spouses; his sister Doris Dell of Huntingdon PA, and brother Robert of Mansfield Ohio. Don had nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
There will be a private burial at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery at Arneytown.
