Ronald Edward Minor

Beloved husband of Pat for 54 years. Loving father of Scott (Anastasia) Minor and Kevin Minor. Proud grandfather of Pierce, Colette, Natalie, Madison and Christopher. Brother and Brother-in-law of James (Anita) Minor, Sharon Minor, Deborah (Kevin) Young, Edward Krasinski and the late Robert Minor, Sally Gawecki and Kathy Krasinski. Treasured uncle of Keith, Amanda, Jamie, Jessica, Andrea, Robbie, Michael, Hayley, Rachel, Douglas and the late Glen.

Mr. Minor received his bachelor's degree from the University of Toledo where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi. He was an automotive financial analyst for General Motors and continued his career by operating his own tax and accounting firm after his retirement. He was also a member of Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church and an avid Notre Dame fan.

Ronald was proud of his Polish Heritage; he loved boating and fishing on Union Lake as well as fishing for walleye and perch on Lake Erie. He enjoyed playing cards with his long time friends some of which he had known for over 40 years. His greatest joy was attending all the special events of his treasured grandchildren. "He was a great guy" and will be missed by all.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Orchard Lake St. Mary's Catholic Church, 3535 Indian Trail in Orchard Lake. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at the Union Lake Chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road in White Lake and Saturday at church from 9:30am until the time of mass at 10:00am. A scripture service will be held at 7:00pm Friday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to the University of Toledo, Central Catholic High School in Toledo or Orchard Lake St. Mary's.
