Robert, known to all as Bob, was born in Rochester, New York on February 25, 1951.
When computers were in their infancy, Bob looked forward and utilized his tech savvy skills in Building 300 at Xerox where he met his wife, Joy (Livecchi). He ambitiously worked in IT Operations for 50 years where he developed friendships and built a strong foundation for his family.
Bob was a wonderful, loving father and active in supporting his children in dance, swim, soccer, baseball, marching band, and drumline. He could always be found with a video camera, timer, or scoresheet at events.
Bob’s love of Star Wars, The Beatles, and racing was shared and bequeathed to his family. His silly humor and his ‘Uncle Bobby-isms’ were unsurpassed and unmatched. “I am your (grand) father!”, “Hi Boys!” and “Brenda Sue Anne” were the hallmarks of his humorous trade.
Bob is survived by his four children: Michele (Chris) Taylor, Jeanne (Chris) Wagner, Nathan (Mackenzie) Hargreaves, and Alexis Hargreaves; his five grandchildren: Braydon, Lucas, Hannah, Juniper, and Jack; his siblings: Lynne (Timothy) Battles and James (Valerie) Hargreaves; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Joy, granddaughter Cecilia Wagner, and his parents Robert and Mary (Barker).
