Patricia Jean Baker

Patricia Jean Baker, age 72, of Commerce Township, died Sunday, July 25, 2021 at her home. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John; her two sons: Michael Jidov, and Kurt Baker; her two grandchildren: Isabella, and Johnny; her sister, Joan Scott; and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia was born September 13, 1948, in Pontiac, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Edward and Katherine (Croteau) Spencer. She met John Baker through work, and the two started dating, fell in love, and were married on April 9, 1976. Pat worked as the office manager and part owner at Keller Williams Show Case Real Estate in Commerce for twenty years until her retirement in 2018. In her free time, Patricia could be found traveling; and had fond memories of her trips to Hilton Head Island and to her cottage in East Tawas. She also loved to spend time visiting with her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by many.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Katherine; her step-father, Edward Egres; and her sister, Sandra Trudell.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 1, 2021, at the White Lake chapel of the Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 1233 Union Lake Road, White Lake, Michigan 48386. Patricia’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Those desiring may consider memorial contributions to the Fallen and Wounded Soldiers of Michigan.
