Barbara Thurber (Nee Benedict) of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away March 5, 2016 at 84 years of age. Beloved wife of the late L. Kenneth. Mother of Robin (Bruce) Sole, Ray (Jan) and Terie Wallis (Gary). Sister of Joyce Peterson and the late Richard Benedict. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alec and Jessica Thurber and niece Cheryl (Jim Ori). A private family memorial has been held. The family request that those wishing to make an expressions of sympathy submit a donation form to the Huron Valley Humane Society in honor of Barbara’s dearly loved dog Chico.
