Evelyn Forte Bajon

Evelyn Forte Bajon, a native and resident of White Castle, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at her residence. She was 86. Mrs. Bajon graduated from White Castle High School in 1945 and from Larguier’s School of Beauty Culture in 1946. She was a licensed Beautician for 67 years having operated Evelyn’s Beauty Shop from 1946 until 1994.

Visitation will be Friday, July 25, 2014, 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 26, 2014, 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in White Castle with Rev. Joey F. Angeles, celebrant. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, White Castle.

Survivors include her 3 sons; Charlton Andrew Bajon, Jr., Wayne Joseph Bajon and wife Rosemary Frances Crifasi Bajon, and Michael James Bajon, 1 granddaughter; Isabella Rose Bajon, 3 sisters; Josephine Forte Viviano, Mary Forte Hubble, and Lena Forte Medica.

Mrs. Bajon was preceded in death by her parents; Sam Forte, Sr., and Lena Guercio Forte, her husband; Charlton Andrew Bajon, Sr., 5 brothers; Vincent B. Forte, Sam Forte, Jr., Joseph R. Forte, Anthony (Roy) Forte, and Raymond H. Forte, 2 sisters; Rosemary Forte Hufstetler, and Carmelite Forte Bajon, her Godfather; Anthony Guercio and Godmother; Theresa Forte.
