Bill and Georgia liked to take their kids camping and on long road trips. After they retired, they traveled to Spain, drove to Canada, drove to see their kids a lot, visited many states, and went on 3 cruises. Since his younger years Bill had a love of cars. He could tell you the name and year of every car he saw, which was not surprising as he had a great memory. He loved to attend car shows and looked at every car there. Bill and Georgia also were on a bowling team for 40 years and were still bowling when he was 85. He liked to play cards and board games, which he often won. He also loved working in his yard and planting flowers, especially his favorite, zinnias. Neighbors were always walking by complimenting him on his flowerbeds and Bill would gladly hand out bags of zinnia seeds to them.
Services, vault placing and a reception will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 10:00am at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery.
