Virginia attended high school at West High School in Denver in the mid 1940s. She was primarily a homemaker but worked a number of years for the Samsonite Corporation in the 60s with her husband, Don.
She loved entertaining in her beautiful backyard, traveling, music, dining out, and her family.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald Waterman, in 2007, her parents, Charles and Marie Howard, her sisters, Blanche and Dorothy, and brother, Richard.
She is survived by her children, Greg (Julie), Janis (David), Jerry (Debra), and Marty, as well as seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
