Rosalie earned her B.A. in Education (with honors) from San Diego State University and completed her master's degree at Framingham State College in Massachusetts. She was an elementary school teacher and accomplished pianist. Rosalie was a member of The National League of American Pen Women where she served on the governing board.
Rosalie had a passion for watercolor painting and owned her own art gallery for many years. Her work is scattered across the country displayed in the homes of numerous friends. Rosalie was an avid world traveler - her favorite location being Bhutan. She enjoyed volunteering in her communities; most recently as a volunteer docent at the Foothills Art Center in Golden. She was a member of The King of Glory Lutheran Church where she ran the Sage program for seniors and the homebound communion program.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 42 years, Sterling Hudson Silver. She is survived by her son, Keith Silver and his wife Marcy and granddaughter Lauren, and her son Kyle Silver and his wife Tara and grandsons Ethan and Alex - none of whom inherited any of her exceptional organizational and tidiness skills.
The Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to be announced.
