aka Peggy Hesselbach
7/26/31 - 11/3/19
Peggy was born to Carrol and Gertrude Cates in Independence, Iowa on July 26th,
1931. After completing high school, she married Gifford C. Bare in 1950. Her first child,
Michael Jon arrived in 1951 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Julie Ann was born to the Bare
family in 1958. Peggy was a stay at home mom during her children’s younger years.
She went to work as a secretary for a real estate firm in 1964 in order to support her two
young children. At times Peggy was required to work more than one job to provide for
her small family. She raised her two children with good values and a work ethic that
was learned by the example she set for them.
Peggy remarried in 1973 to William G. Taylor. Peggy and Bill were co-publishers of the
North Denver Tribune newspaper. During their years of marriage, Peggy and Bill
became accomplished world travelers visiting such places as Africa, Europe, and Asia.
After their retirement, they became snow birds and spent their winters in Tucson,
Arizona. Bill and Peggy were married for thirteen wonderful years until Bill passed away
in 1986.
Peggy married her second Bill, William B. Hesselbach, in the summer of 1988. Bill
and Peggy also traveled to sunny Arizona to wile away the winters in a place that was
warm and inviting. Peggy and her husband Bill lived a life that was full of love and a
deep commitment to each other for over 31 years.
Peggy is survived by her son Michael, a daughter Julie and a granddaughter Robin.
She also was blessed with another granddaughter, Summer, who passed away in 2011.
