Peggy Hunnicutt lived a full adventurous life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, horsewoman, artist, rancher, adventurer, traveler, and lover of all animals everywhere. She enjoyed 50 years of marriage to Tom Hunnicutt, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her daughter Michelle, her son Jeff and her brother Robert.
Peggy’s life was filled with service to many different things so important to her: Her faith and her church at St Joan of Arc, the Prospect Recreation and Park District, the Jefferson County Horse Council, the Fairmount Improvement Association and countless school, sports, and horse-related organizations for her children.
Her passions for travel, literature, art, poetry and adventure filled her years with an unquenchable thirst for living life to its fullest. Peggy loved her family and her friends dearly, and her loss will be felt strongly by all who loved her.
