Norma Vance Kady Andress March 31, 1919 - September 3, 2023, age 104 was born in Missouri Valley, Iowa. She grew up in Jamestown, Kansas and Omaha, Nebraska, and moved to Denver, Colorado in 1937. She is a class of 1938 graduate of South High School and also went to Parks Business School. She met her future husband Leonard (Mick) at the Reese House Restaurant where he was employed. They were married in March 1941 before he joined the Navy during WWII. She helped the war effort by making shell casings in a munitions manufacturing plant in Englewood, Co while he served in the South Pacific. They started a family in 1946 with a daughter Shirley (deceased 2008), and another daughter, Linne in 1950. Norma was a dedicated mother and homemaker in Lakewood, Co. She and Mick loved going to their mountain cabin at Green Mountain Reservoir in Heeney, Colorado.
Norma is survived by daughter Linne, of Denver, grandson Jefferson Puskas(Tracy) of Arvada, her nephew Steve D. Kady(Sue) of Denver, nephew Mark E. Kady(Mara) of Florida, cousin Nancy Berry(Mike) of Kansas, dear friend MaryAnn Danielson, and many other friends new and old.
Sweet Norma is greatly missed, but is alive in Spirit in her higher expression of life.
