It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved father and grandfather, Martin Boroos. Martin passed away peacefully on October 31, 2024 in Wheat Ridge, CO. Throughout his 91 years of life, he enjoyed the outdoors as a hunter, fisherman and photographer. He grew up in the small town of Badger, MN, with extended family in North Dakota. He met his wife Lois Boroos (Lunde) at a Bible study and they were married in September of 1960. After moving to Denver in 1961, his focus was on raising and supporting his family. Together they surrounded their daughters, grandson, Lois’ mother, and Lois’ siblings, with love and encouragement.
Most important to him was his faith. Long ago he became a Christian and lived a life driven by a desire to do God’s will and teach us of His love. With faith, we know our separation is only temporary. We were so blessed to have had him in our lives.
Martin was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 60 years, Lois Boroos (Lunde), his mother Eliza Boroos (Tillet), his father Christian Boroos, and his brother John Boroos (Lois). He is survived by daughters Kerri and Rondi Boroos, grandson Jason Boroos (Callie), Lois’ sister Debbie Mangion (George) and family, Lois’ brother Don Anderson (Terry) and family, and his nieces Chris Boroos and Janice Jiuditta (Boroos).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
