Martha Gooselaw of Aurora, Colorado, was born October 27, 1940, in Carrolton, Missouri, to John and Edyth Till; she was a loving wife of 62 years to Virgil Gooselaw, a devoted mother of three daughters, Grandmother of ten Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren, and cherished Holly Street Church of Christ and which she was a member for 56 years.
Martha was known for her devotion to God and was an example to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her after receiving an LPN in nursing from Deaconess Hospital School of Nursing of Spokane, WA. Martha dedicated her life to God and her family. Martha was an avid gardener, loved to crochet, and cooked for her family and friends. Martha was a long-time volunteer of the Retired United Airlines Employees Association. She had a special place for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, but she was Grandma to all who knew her.
Martha is survived by her husband, Virgil Gooselaw, and three daughters, Dayna Roberts (Michael) of Aurora, CO, Deniece Morris (Bryan) Of Newburg IN, and Dianne Adkins (Robert) of Aurora, CO. Ten grandchildren, Desirae Miller (Shanon) of Crandall, IN, Lindsay McClelland (Brad) of Castle Rock, CO, Danielle Baucom (Michael) of Victoria, TX, Courtney Roberts of Aurora, CO, Drew McCowan (Darja) of Fairbanks, AK, Christopher Roberts of Aurora, CO, Rachel Hutchcraft (Nate) of Centennial, CO, Tessah Morris of Bowling Green, KY, Trent Morris of Bowling Green, KY and McKenna Morris of Newburgh, IN, and ten Great-Grandchildren Lailah and Seth Miller, Nora, Harper, Graham, Stella McClelland, Emma, Brayden, Heath Baucom, Alec McCowan, and one Freddy the fish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edith Till, and her brother, Bill Till.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary and Cemetery, 7777 W. 29th Street, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. The graveside burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery of Denver, Colorado, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.
Martha will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
