Louis was an incredibly caring, loving generous man and a friend to all, and he loved his daughters more than anything in the world. In his spare time he enjoyed auto racing, restoring old cars, bowling, and watching the Broncos and Rockies games. He also enjoyed going to concerts with his daughter Sherri and son in law Martin and the many BBQ's and holidays spent with his grandson Quin.
Louis was a part of the C.A.R.C (Colorado Auto Racing Club) for 60 years. In 2004 at the age of 64 he became a pit crew member for Bob and Gary Land until he was almost 78 years old. In 2012 he was inducted into C.A.R.C Hall of Fame.
Louis was very proud of his two daughters, Tammy Pierce and her husband Brian of North Carolina and Sherri Fernandez and her husband Martin of Denver. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kirk Richard and his wife Octavia of North Carolina, Ashley Pierce of North Carolina, and Quin Borders of Colorado; his great grandchildren Harmony and Benjamin.
Graveside services will be held at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery on Tuesday, December 19th at 2:00 O'Clock in the afternoon. Public Visitation to start at 1:00 O'clock in the afternoon at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary.
