Larry Gene Rose, 75, died July 12, 2022, in Fort Myers, FL. A memorial service will be held on August 2, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, Tower of Memories Chapel, 7777 West 29th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO. Inurnment will follow at Olinger Crown Hill, Tower of Memories.
Larry was born on August 12, 1946, in Kansas City, KS, to Henry and Naomi (Burkett) Rose. He was raised in Urbandale, IA, and graduated from Urbandale High School in 1964. Larry married the love of his life, Linda (Martensen) Rose, in 1968. They had one daughter, Connie, and a son, James, whom they raised in Arvada, CO.
After high school, Larry worked for 33 years as a Leadman and Brewing Specialist at the Adolph Coors Brewing Company in Golden, CO. He was known for his witty sense of humor and his ability to fix or install just about anything. He enjoyed the company of family and friends. His hobbies included cruising, woodworking, fishing, boating, camping, walking on the beach and shelling. Larry and Linda loved wintering in Fort Myers, and eventually Larry resided there permanently.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Connie (Nathan) Muller, of Littleton, CO; son, James (Andrea) Rose, of Parker, CO; and five grandchildren, Adysen and Logan Muller and Xander, Zayden and Bentley Rose. Larry was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, his parents and his two brothers, Robert and Paul Rose.
