Edward Sedillos, 95, of Westminster, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Edward was born June 23, 1929, in Dacono, Colorado. Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who leaves behind a rich legacy of love and hard work.
As a proud Marine, Edward served for two years on active duty and another four in the reserves. Edward served his country with honor. He married Constance Kelly and had 4 children. They divorced and he married Carolyn Miller Davis. He acquired 2 stepsons had 2 daughters with Carolyn. He instilled values of
dedication and resilience in his children. He was a constant source of inspiration and support to his family, nurturing them with the same love he cultivated in his cherished tomato garden. Edward had a deep appreciation for nature, spending countless hours tending to his plants and taking long walks while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors. He found joy in singing, often filling his home with music that brought everyone together. His laughter, stories and recipes will be greatly missed by his family who will carry forward his spirit of adventure and kindness. A hardworking man, Edward dedicated his life to providing for his family. Edward received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver. He worked as a schoolteacher, a clerk for Ringsby Trucking, and retired from the US Postal Service. He and Carolyn traveled extensively and enjoyed seeing the world. He leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, dedication, and hard work that will continue to bloom in the hearts of those he touched.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sedillos, son, Eduardo Sedillos, daughter, Lorrie Sedillos and daughter, Cindy Wallace. He is survived by Debbie Frazee (Scott), Susan Sedillos, Brenda Patterson (Charlie), Greg Davis (Kelly) and Doug Davis, 13 grandchildren and 11 great children. He is also survived by his brother, Alfred Sedillos.
