56, Our beloved daughter Debbie passed away Monday, December 9, 2013 after battling Huntington's Disease for many years. Huntington's is a degenerative brain disease causing the brain to gradually, functionally deteriorate. She had been a resident at The Mesa Vista Care facility in Boulder for the past nine years.
Debbie had a strong Christian faith and her family is comforted in knowing that she is now in heaven with Jesus.
She is survived by her parents Sandy and Jean Sanderson of Evergreen, her daughter, Nichole Ireland of Willmington, DE, her sister Lori Foster of Evergreen, her brother Scott Sanderson of Las Vegas, NV, her sister Sheryl Jordan of Watauga, TX, and her sister Susanne Hinckley of Kyle, TX. She is also survived by her former husband Steve Ireland.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday, December 20, 2013, from 1pm to 3pm at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary.
