Dawn Susan McFadden walked into the forest December 5, 2024, @ 3:19 am. It was a brave choice to leave this world and transition to the next with the gracious help of hospice. She was an engaging, intelligent, charming, dry humored college professor. A professional artist and an avid bicycle rider. Dawn was a generous bountiful baker helping everyone celebrate weddings, Solstice, holidays and special occasions. We nicknamed her the “mermaid” because of her love of water and time at the lake in Wisconsin. Craig, our family and friends will dearly miss her.
