Chuck and Zona Simons

United in Marriage February 20, 1951

Chuck and Zona Simons passed away with in hours of each other in late January of this year in Sahuarita, Arizona. Charles was born in Arvada, Colorado to Charles and Mabel Simons. The youngest of three children, Charles was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Frances and Ila.

Zona was born in Deshler, Nebraska to Roy and Edna Buchleiter. Zona was the youngest of seven children; Orval, Gordon, Clifford, Roy, Dorothy and Vernon. Zona was preceded in death by her parents and all but her brother Vernon; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Buchleiter of Ft. Collins, Colorado, and Jane Buchleiter (Vernon) of Destin, Florida.

Charles and Zona are survived by daughters Linda, Colleen (Paul), Paulette (Jerry) and son Charles Jr., eight grandchildren (six spouses), six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services Thursday, February 15, 2018, 10am at the First Baptist Church of Englewood, 3190 S. Broadway, Englewood, Colorado. They will be laid to rest together at Olinger Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
