Charles went by many nicknames: Chuck, Charlie, Mickey, Mac, and Sonny.
His work life consisted of being a coal miner since he was 14 years old, almost a decade in the Army as well as serving in the Korean War, and eventually working as a machine operator for the Northwest Pipe Corp and Thompson Pipe. He retired to care for his wife Viola.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Viola, his second wife, Mary Sena, and his son, Robert McCune.
Charles is survived by his children, Dennis McCune, Charlene McCune, Patricia Lopez and Anthony McCune. He is also survived by his step-children, Joyce Lopez, Tony Sena, Jim Sena, and Joey Sena, and numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on August 8, 2021 from 1-2 pm at Crown Hill.
Funeral Services will be held August 9, 2021 at 2pm at Crown Hill.
There will be a military interment August 12th at 2:15 PM at Ft. Logan Cemetery, Staging Area C
