During his duty, he was awarded the United Nations Service Metal, National Defense Service Metal, Korean Service Medal, and China Service Metal.
Bernie’s career spanned time as a fireman, appliance repairman, restaurant equipment installer, school maintenance specialist at Park County schools and Regis University. He was renowned for his excellent ability as a mechanic. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.
Bernie enjoyed spending time with his friends and family fishing, boating, working on cars, and relaxing.
Matthew 4:19 NLT & Mark 1:17 NLT Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Bernie always ‘fished for people’ by not just helping people out but by being there and showing them the way.
2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight; I have finished the race; I have kept the faith.
