Born on September 19th, 1928, in Denver, CO, she took great pride in being a Colorado native.
Ann graduated from North High School and pursued her passion for art at Denver University. Throughout her adult years, she was a dedicated owner, operator, and teacher. She founded her own business, ‘Ann’s Pine Needle,’ where she taught smocking, sewing, and embroidery techniques, sharing her love for crafts with many.
In her younger years, Ann was actively involved in synchronized swimming and remained engaged in various groups throughout her life, including Above and Beyond, Rocky Mountain Sewing, and AAA Sewing, among many others.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Ezra Elledge; her grandson-in-law, Scott Pope; and her great-granddaughter, Olivia Byerly. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Cox and Nancy Staskin; her grandchildren, Noelle Green, Shannon Pace (Michael), and Allison Pope; and her great-grandchildren, Austin, Travis, Jacob, Ava, Andrew, Lydia, and Stella.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Morningstar Assisted Living & Memory Care and Berkeley Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during Ann’s final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life service, Wednesday, August 7th at 11 am: Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary & Cemetery 7777 West 29th Ave Wheat Ridge, CO.
