Dorothy Ellen Cromwell

Cromwell, Dorothy Ellen- 88 of Southville, Digby Co; passed away March 26,2010in Digby General Hospital. Born in Southville, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Jennie ( Bright) Cromwell. She was a member of St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Southville, member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 67 Weymouth, and a member of the Danvers, Southville, Riverdale Ladies quilting group. She was an avid gardener. Surviving are daughters Valery Cromwell, Southville; Deanna Cromwell of Medicine Hat, Alberta; Jennifer Cromwell, Calgary ,Alberta; sisters Phyllis ( Billy) Richards, Southville; Digby Co; Rose Jarvis, Tideview Terrace, Digby; brother Glidden (Grace) Cromwell, Southville; 4 grandchildren, 5 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bernard, daughter Susan Noel, granddaughter Lisa Cromwell. Visitation will be from her residence in Southville, on Monday, March 29, 2010. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, March 30, from St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Southville. Father Keith Billard will officiate with burial in the parish cemetery.
