William was predeceased by his mother, Pearl Rainey (Rolston); father, Dan Rainey; brother, Melvyn Rainey; in laws, Stan and Margaret Corbin; sisters in law, Darlene Bachman and Diane Corbin; brothers in law, Calvin Ulm, Wilf “Spike” Reisdorf and Frank Phillips.
William is survived by his wife of 62 years, Doreen Rainey of Pangman, SK; four children, Mark (Sharon) Rainey of Moose Jaw, SK; Glen Rainey of Weyburn, SK; Scott (Rhonda) Rainey of Yellow Grass, SK;
Tammy (Darrin) Nagy of Weyburn, SK; 8 grandchildren, Cherisse (Trevor), Paige (Tyler), Kennedy (Tyler), Graham (Cassie), Camisha, Tyler, Brandon (Karlee), and Kayla (Steven); 9 great grandchildren, Tripp, Trey, Hazel, Beau, Dradon, Tucker, Asher, Blake, and Lily; sister, Marjorie Walters; sisters in law, Carol Ulm, Bev Reisdorf and Sharon Phillips; brother in law, Dennis Corbin as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
At the request of Jack & Family there will be no formal service held.
