Owen was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Ona Hewitt and father in law, John McLellan. Owen will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Hewitt of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Kellie (Willy) Mason & children, Sierra, Ayva (Carver) and Ty of Weyburn, SK; daughter, Stacey (Trevor) Roberts & children, Isla and Jorja of Midale, SK; daughter, Angela (Josh) Pulfer & children, Addalyn and Owen of Weyburn, SK; sister, Glenda (Roger) Arseneau; mother in law, Shirley McLellan; brothers in law, Jim (Val) McLellan, Dave (Darlene) McLellan & Bill McLellan; as well as many loving nieces, nephews & cousins.
Owen truly loved spending time with his family. He had a very outgoing, pleasant personality that was honest and sincere. He was known for his quick wit; joking around and the ability to put a smile on the face of everyone he met. Owen’s friends also had a special place in his heart and were all very important to him.
Your loving, caring and smile will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Owen’s Life was held Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #47, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Pastor Jody Pfeifer officiating. The Interment followed the funeral lunch at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Saskatchewan. Honourary Pallbearers were all of Owen’s grandchildren.
