E. Marie Nixon

Marie was predeceased by her parents, John and Myrtle Bailey; first husband, Jack Nelson Oberkirsch; second husband, Leslie Nixon; brothers, Norman (Evelyn) Bailey, Walter Stanley (Beverley) Bailey, Roy (Helen) Bailey, Ray Bailey and brother in law, Kohzoh Stonefield.

Marie will be forever loved & missed by her daughter, Brenda (Dan) Quillen of Salmon Arm, BC; son, Garth (Cheryl) Oberkirsch of Weyburn, SK; son, Garnet Oberkirsch of Lipton, SK; daughter, Gaylene (Larry) Drader of Calgary, AB; daughter, Debbie-Kae (Mike) Bolton of Dallas, TX; son, Kevin (Kelli) Oberkirsch of Melville, SK; daughter, Jolei Oberkirsch of Neudorf, SK; 29 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren; brother, John (Rosalyn) Bailey; sisters, Mavis Stonefield, Carol Berger, Debbie Van Der Meer and Margo (Don) Maxwell; sister in law, Ruth Bailey as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Visitation was held on Friday, July 26th, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan and the Funeral Service took place on Saturday, July 27th, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at McKenna Hall (upper floor), Weyburn, Saskatchewan with John Smith officiating. The video of the service can still be viewed by logging in to “Fletcher Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services” Facebook page. Interment followed in Radville~Laurier Cemetery, Radville, Saskatchewan.
