Dianne is predeceased by her parents, Caroline and Steven Hess, her brother, Albert and her daughter, Louella.
Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Glen Branning; her daughter, Tammy and her sons, Tyson and Braydon; her granddaughter, Chelsey (Charlie) and their children, Chad, Hannah and Tyler. Also left to cherish her memory are Wayne Branning (Flo), Donna Branning (Karen) and Denise Branning, along with many other extended family members and friends.
In her younger years Dianne was very athletic and competitive and excelled at softball. Dianne married Glen Branning in 1961, in Pangman, Saskatchewan, and they welcomed the birth of their daughters Louella and Tammy in the following years.
Dianne spent most of her adult life in Weyburn and enjoyed long careers with CIBC and the City of Weyburn. Glen and Dianne were ardent supporters of the Weyburn Red Wings and enjoyed many happy hours bowling and metal detecting in the rural areas. They also enjoyed time spent with their many friends at the Legion. Dianne loved her garden and flowers, as well as her computer games and listening to her favorite music by the Platters, the Righteous Brothers and Elvis. Most importantly, Dianne loved visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 1:00 PM from Fletcher Funeral Chapel, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Marjorie McLeod ~ Legion Chaplain officiating. Interment followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
Her family would like to thank the management and staff at Tatagwa View Nursing Home for their care over the past years.
