Roland A. Cloutier, 94, beloved husband of Corinne (Libratore) Cloutier, of New Britain, entered into God’s care on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Roland was born in Fall River, MA., and was the son of the late Sylvere and Marie (Bouchard) Cloutier.
Roland was a retiree of Pratt & Whitney after many years of service and proudly served in the U.S. Army.
In earlier years, Roland and Corinne spent many years camping with a wonderful group of friends. Though he had a tireless work ethic, he made time to enjoy life. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening , and spending time with his family. Roland was also a member of the Elk’s Club for over 35 years.
He will also be remembered for his kind spirit, sense of humor, twinkling blue eyes and boundless love
In addition to his wife Corinne, he is also survived by his daughter, Pamela Gregory and her husband John of Cheshire, his brother, Normand Cloutier of Berlin, his five grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah) Greenwell of Illinois, Christopher Greenwell of New Britain, Kevin (Amy) Gregory of Berlin, Greg Gregory of Meriden and Jillian Gregory of Cheshire and his four precious great grandchildren, Lincoln, Eve, Arbor and Emmett. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Maria Gonzalez. Her kindness care and love have been so appreciated during this difficult time.
Calling hours will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. Please join and gather with the family at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, for a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2024.
