Maureen Elaine Richardson

Maureen Elaine (Lynch) Richardson, 58, of Wethersfield, CT passed away peacefully at Smilow Cancer Hospital on December 10, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 28, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA and was the daughter of John Lynch and Catherine Lynch. Maureen worked for over 30 years at the Connecticut State Department of Education where she made lifelong friends. She graduated from Bloomfield High School, and received her Associates Degree from Capitol Community College. She is survived by many loving family members including her mother Catherine Lynch of West Hartford, her sister Kathleen Bercowetz and her husband Donald of Hartford as well as their children Dana, Michael and Rachel, her aunt Patricia Crowley of New Jersey and other family members. She will be missed most by her loving daughter Megan Kathleen Richardson of Wethersfield and her grand dog Trixie. She is pre deceased by her father John Lynch and her uncle John Crowley. Maureen was an amazing mother, sister, daughter and friend and will be greatly missed.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Boulevard, Wethersfield. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral chapel. In lieu of flowers donations in Maureen’s name may be made to Yale Cancer Center, Office of Development, P.O.
