Jonathan Velez

Jonathan was born in Hartford, CT and lived his life between there and East Hartford.

Jonathan was a unique soul. He never shied away from speaking his mind and would tell you off at any given moment. He balanced that with being a fiercely loving and loyal person. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and was always the life of the party. He also enjoyed working and formed many close friendships with his coworkers. He gave his whole self in everything he did and always left an impression on the people he encountered.

In addition to his parents, he will be sorely missed by his siblings; Arismari Velez, Carlos Velez Rodriguez Jr., Dominic Velez Morgan, Step-Sister Shellsea Narvaez, his Grandmothers (Abuelas) Martires Ramos Font, Rafaela Santana and Nereida Rivera and Cousins Shanice Richardson, Melanie Rodriguez, Brian Rodriguez, Arelis Cruz Rodriguez, Alexandra Narvaez, Andrew, Adrian, and Tony Velez, as well as many many more. He also had several Aunts, Uncles, and a host of friends who he cherished as family.

Please join the family on Friday, February 17, 2023 for a time to Celebrate his beautiful life, from 4:00-7:00pm, with a Prayer Service at 6:00PM, at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield, CT. Please feel free to share with us, images or a special memory you may have.
