Cynthia (rouse) Sherman Ganter

Cynthia (Rouse) Sherman Ganter, 73, of Colchester, formerly of Wethersfield died Friday (April 28, 2006) at Middlesex Memorial Hospital. Born in Ludlow, MA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (Gammons) Rouse and lived in Wethersfield for most of her life. She worked for many years at SNET and later was employed as a home health aide with VNA of Middletown. She is survived by her son Scott Sherman of Haddam, a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and David Mancini of Colchester, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Janice Rouse of Rocky Hill and three grandchildren, Matthew, Alexandra and Nicholas Mancini and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Roger Sherman and her second husband Harry Ganter. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. in Village Cemetery, Wethersfield. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, 300 Main St. Wethersfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church.
