Annamaria D’Angelo of Wethersfield died peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday April 4, 2024. Annamaria was born in Pratola Peligna, Abbruzzo Italy. She lived a long life, full of joy, happiness and love. She is predeceased by her parents, Emilo and Alzira Colaiacovo; her husband, Luigi D’Angelo and her daughter, Teresa D’Angelo Savoir.
Annamaria is survived by her devoted daughters, Patricia Deperry and her husband Brian of Cromwell and Lolita O’Brien and her husband Robert, also of Cromwell; a loving sister, Delia Simonetta and her husband Michael and her brother, Pasquale “Pat” Colaiacovo and his wife Christina, all of Wethersfield. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Alicia, Jennifer and Brian Deperry, and Monica Savoir and seven great-grandchildren, Lucas and Harper Langdon, Harrison Kennelly, Brielle and Emerie Deperry and her newest great-grandson, Liam Deperry, as well as her nephews, Gregory and Michael Simonetta and Alex Colaiacovo, and her best friend, Joseph Mascaro.
Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10 at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Entombment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 9 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
