Thomas V. Gleason

Thomas V. Gleason of Park Ridge New Jersey passed into the arms of God at his home on November 16, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Thomas was born and raised in the Bronx, attended Sacred Heart Schools, and later entered pharmacy school. He was a sales representative for Eli Lilly for many years and then worked as a pharmacist towards the end of his career. Tom was beloved by all those with whom he came into contact. He always took the time to research and explain any medications for his clients, and he was a strong and calming presence for many families over his years of service. Tom’s most important relationship was with his beloved wife “Joanie,” from whom he could not bear to be apart. The two were inseparable and enjoyed travelling to exotic places early in their marriage, but later were most content just spending time in each other’s company, listening to music, enjoying their porch, or going out for “dunch” once they had both retired. Everyone they met was in awe of Tom’s devotion to Joan, and she to him. She was his “GAL”.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church, 2 Fremont Avenue, Park Ridge, NJ, 07656 on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.Tom will be enormously missed by all who were privileged to know him. His passing will leave a deep void in all our hearts.
