Steven Louis Bartel, aged 82, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Whiting, New Jersey. Born on February 20, 1942, Steven was a beacon of kindness, creativity, and generosity throughout his life. He proudly dedicated himself to his family as a loving husband to his wife of 60 years, Teresa, and as a nurturing father and grandfather.
Steven is survived by his wife, Teresa; his son, Scott Bartel and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline; his daughter, Christine Bartel Mountain and son-in-law, Russell; along with his cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Erin Bartel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Rosalie, and his brother, Thomas.
A visitation for Steven will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Becker Funeral Home in Westwood, New Jersey. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at Becker Funeral Home. The funeral home is assisting the Bartel family during this difficult time, ensuring that Steven's life is honored and remembered with the utmost respect and care.
