Robert V. Palumbo

PALUMBO, Robert V., 74, of Paramus, NJ, formerly of Manasquan, NJ passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 after a well fought battle with many illnesses. Born in Jersey City, NJ to Victor Palumbo and Margaret Battifarano. He served his country proudly in the US Army during the Korean War. Robert was the owner of R&B Towing in West New York, NJ for over thirty years. Loving father of Janet Van Riper and her husband Tim, and Suzanne Kleman and her husband Paul; beloved companion of Roberta Palumbo; cherished grandfather of Melissa and Samantha Van Riper, and Matthew, Andrew and Olivia Kleman, and great grandfather of Ava; dear nephew of Elsie Reynolds, and cousin of Richard Reynolds and Susan Miller. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Becker Funeral Home, Friday, 9:30 AM. Entombment to follow at St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Sea Girt, NJ.
