Rita M. Cordova

CORDOVA, Rita Mullins, 63, of Toms River, NJ, formerly of Westwood, NJ, passed away Monday, December 5th, 2022. Rita is survived by her three children, Jillian Cordova and fiancé Andrew, Samantha Sanderson and her husband Jamaal, and Jonathan Cordova and his wife Melissa; her five Grandchildren, Mackenzie and Mason Sanderson, Aubree and Jeremiah Cordova, and William Brown; her father Jeremiah Mullins and his wife Mary; her siblings John Mullins, Lorraine Bhagat and her husband David, Rosemarie Nutile and her husband Robert and Mercedes Skamarycz and her husband Lawrence as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her mother Anne C. Mullins, her sister Cathy and her nephew Larry. Rita spent most of her life in the Pascack Valley community, and served as an employee of Pascack Community Bank for many years.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Friday, December 9th from 3-8PM. A Mass celebrating Rita’s life and faith will be held at St. John The Baptist R.C. Church in Hillsdale, NJ on Saturday, December 10th at 10AM with private cremation to follow. Memorial contributions can be made in Rita’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or at Stjude.org/donate.
