Regina T. Kenny

Regina (Jean) Kenny, formally of Washington Township, NJ died peacefully on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 in Upper Saint Clair, PA. She was 93 years old. Born in New York City, she was the loving daughter of Anna and Henry Doyle. Jean was the older sister to Dorothy who pre-deceased her, and Kathy. After graduating from St. Michael’s High School in Union City, Jean attended the McDowell School of Design in NYC. She was an accomplished pattern and clothing designer. Later in life, she would work for Lord and Taylor. Jean was married to her beloved high school sweetheart, Aloysius Kenny for 55 years till his death in 2004. She was the devoted mother to Celia (Frank) Ottochian, Marian (Glenn) Jonnet and sons Allen (Sue), Timothy (Amy) and Brian ( Wendy) Kenny.

Jean and Al leave a legacy of 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive their relatives and friends on Friday, January 27th 4-8 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ. A Mass celebrating Jean’s life will be held on Saturday, January 28th, 9:45 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church , 668 Ridgewood Rd., Washington Township, NJ. The internment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah, NJ.
