Mario Francesco Ciocca

CIOCCA, Mario Francesco, 84, a longtime resident of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was born in Italy and came to the United States in 1959. Beloved husband of 57 years of Carmela Ciocca. Devoted father of Maria Williams and her husband Russell, and Mario Ciocca and his wife Cindy. Dear brother of Filomena Mastromonaco. Loving grandfather of Nicholas, Joseph and Jake Williams; and Luke, Jack, Michael and Gabrielle Ciocca. He is predeceased by his brothers, Michael, Giuseppe and Francesco. Mario served as Police Officer in Italy, and after coming to the United States he served as a Quality Control Officer for Burroughs Corp. in Park Ridge, NJ and after retiring worked for the Borough of Westwood Parking Authority. He was a parishioner of St. Andrew’s R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ and was a member of the Westwood Police Department Reserves. He was often seen on a sports field watching his grandchildren and enjoying the company of friends. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, November 15 from 3-8PM. The Funeral Mass celebrating Mario’s life and faith will be held at St. Andrew R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ on Monday, November 16 at 10:30AM. Interment will follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Mario’s name to St. Andrew’s R.C. Church, Westwood, NJ
