RILEY, James M., 94, of Emerson, NJ, formerly of Dumont, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, December 28th, 2016. James is survived by his children James and his wife Gloria and Janet Riley Donohue, his grandchildren Andrew, Timothy, Seth, Lauren, Zachary and Kathleen as well as his 5 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 58 years Eleanor. James was a proud Army veteran of WWII; serving with the armored forces in the European Theatre, including the invasion of Normandy. He received his Master’s degree in psychology from Montclair State University. He was a longtime friend of Bill W. The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, January 3rd from 4-8PM. A Mass celebrating James’ life and faith will be held at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Haworth, NJ on Wednesday at 10AM with entombment at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, NJ to follow.
