Helen M. Gorski

Emerson – Gorski, Helen Mary (nee Kulina) passed away Monday, June 25, 2012. Helen was born on May 13, 1939 in Kingston, PA to Frank and Helen Kulina. She graduated from Newport Township and Wanamie High School in 1957. She also obtained her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Wilkes College in 1961. On July 2, 1966 she married Edward P. Gorski. Helen enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and she was an avid gardener who could identify countless plants and trees.

She was predeceased by a brother John in 1935, father in 1942, mother in 2010 and stepfather Frank Nypower in 1982.

Helen is survived by her husband Ed, Son Stephen, daughter Cheryl Bach, a sister Kathleen Kovaleski, an aunt Stella Kopec and her grandchildren Grant, Troy, Scarlett and Jace.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, June 30th from 2 – 4 pm at the funeral home with a memorial service will take place at 4 pm. Cremation was private.
