Frank J. Villani, 85 of River Vale, NJ passed away on July 31, 2012. Born in Bronx, NY, he has resided in River Vale for 52 years. Frank was a WWII Navy veteran and graduated from Georgetown University. He was the owner of Columbus Circle Liquors, NYC, NY until he retired in 2007. Frank was a volunteer for River Vale Ambulance Corps and a member of the NY Liquor Retailer’s Alliance. Frank and his wife Jane in their later years enjoyed traveling. He will be missed by all that knew him. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Villani; his son, Steven Villani and his wife Judith; his daughter, Kit Argenti and her husband Caesar; and his grandchildren, Chante´, Steven, Mark, Dean and Max. Visiting hours are Thursday and Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Becker Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday 10am at Immaculate Conception Church, 211 Summit St., Norwood, NJ. Entombment will immediate follow in Garden of Memories, Twp. of Washington, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Fund, Attn. Dr. John M. Olichney, The Brain Institute University of California Medical Center @ Davis, 267 Cousteau Place, Davis, CA 95616 in Frank’s memory.
