Diane is survived by her adoring husband of 58 years, John; their children Melanie (Dillon Wu) and Stephen (Nicole); her grandchildren Rebecca Wu, Abbie Tekirian, Lindsey Tekirian and Nathan Tekirian; as well as her sisters Gail Bennett [nee Liebel] and Chrissie DePiero [nee Lashuk]. Diane is predeceased by her parents, Margaret Liebel Lashuk [nee Coffey] and George Liebel, her sister Valerie Conaughy [nee Liebel] and her finicky companion, Smokey, the cat.
Diane was dearly loved and cherished by her family and friends for her empathy and kindness, her values and principles and her devotion to those who mattered most. She was determined and strong in the face of adversity. Diane loved to entertain with delicious food and a beautiful table, and had a lifelong love of ballet and reading, passions she loved to share with others.
During Diane’s long and beautiful life, she generously served her community as a volunteer and board member of a number of organizations including the Helping Hands Food Pantry, Hillsdale House Senior Living community, and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.

The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Thursday, December 19th from 4-8PM. A Celebration Of Life and Faith will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hillsdale, NJ on Friday, December 20th at 11AM with interment at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood, NJ to follow.
