It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Le Khanh Tran also known as Dieu Chau. She passed away peacefully at home with her family members by her side on November 13th, 2024, at the age of 73.
Le Tran was born on October 1st, 1951 in Hanoi, Vietnam to Pha Nguyen And Duc Do. She came to Carbondale, IL in 1971 and graduated from Northwest Missouri State University. she moved to Minnesota in 1976 and married Hung Thien Tran in 1977 where they raised two children. David and Steven. She spent her entire career working at Piper Jaffrey as an accountant. after retiring in 2013 she moved to Orange County, CA where she spent her time with friends and family and traveling.
She will be remembered for being the first of her family to migrate to the U.S and devoting her life to helping so many family members do the same. She loved traveling the world, especially on cruise ships. She is known for bringing family together by cooking the best holiday food including her famous Pho and Thanksgiving stuffing.
She is survived by David Tran, Steven Tran, Julius Tran, Amelie Tran, Khanh Nguyen, Huyen Nguyen, Hai Nguyen, Quy Nguyen, Nguyen Nguyen.
The family kindly requests no offerings. Instead, you may honor Le by practicing acts of kindness, prayers, and listening to her favorite song "Let it Be."
Throughout her life , she lived with compassion and mindfulness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral Service:
A traditional Buddhist ceremony service will be held at Peek Funeral Home - 7801 Bolsa Ave, Westminster, CA 92683.
*Traditional Buddhist Ceremony will be held 10:00 am to 11:00 am
on Saturday 11/30/2024.
*Visitation will be on Saturday 11/30/2024, from 11:00 am to
6:00pm.
*Funeral Service will be on Sunday 12/01/2024, from 9:00 am to
11:00am.
