David Patrick Hongslo, age 48, of Garden Grove, California passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
A wonderful man whose heart was filled with family, faith, and unconditional love. David adored his life ever so passionately. Whether it was for baseball, his most favorite pass time since he was 5 years old, or his company Brave Construction that greatly show his dedication for beautiful work.
Always delighted to be around his family and friends. And creating memories and adventuring out is what he called the “best blessings of living.” Will forever be recognized for unwavering devotion to his wife, Norma and for being a wonderful son. His bravery for his battle with Stage 4 Lymphoma was an inspiration to us all. No matter what he was enduring, David always made sure to greet with a inviting smile and a bid farewell soon following with an “I love you.”
Most importantly he will be remembered as a true believer in Christ, whose faith in God has led him to a very beautiful life. “Be not Afraid” a quote Dave mentioned everyday to show that when you are facing the greatest fears God will always protect you. As we celebrate his life, we wanted to thank David for his alluring presence and for becoming the Saint in our lives.
