I lived next door to Danny for 20 years.  We met the first day My family and I moved in and we became friends with Danny and Tonette that same day.  Over the years we shared in many mile stones.  Watched our kids grow up borrowed many a egg and or sugar we cried together but mostly we laughed together.  Sometimes so hard my sides hurt.  We could talk about anything  for hours.  We shared in the love of music .  He played drums, guitar, sang and did them all very well.  He even wrote music and loved sharing his creations and I enjoy listening to them.  I admired many things about Danny, the one thing I admired most was the way he lived his family.  He had only wonderful things to say about them.  When ever he spoke about his mother or Tonette not only would his eyes light up but his whole essence would shine.  He adored everything about them.  He also loved people, if he considered you his friend he would make sure to let you know as often as he could.  He had a way of making each one of us feel special.  I believe because each one of us was special to him.   I saw this to be true at his memorial.  The chapel was overflowing with people.  It was amazing that he touched so many people.  Danny wasn’t just my neighbor he was family to me.  It was a honor to have known you.  Danny you will forever live in my heart.
