She was born September 28, 1946, in Elkins, WV, a daughter of the late Jackson Curtis Tabscott I and Betty Lee (Hoffman) Tabscott.
On March 18, 1967, she married John Alexander Gula, who survives.
Also surviving are her two sons, Brian Gula of Reno, NV, and Brent Gula of Grapevine, TX; Four Grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Jacob, and Kaira Gula; her sister Maryellen O’Connor (Bernie); and sister-in-law Judy Wardle. Her Nephews, Jackson Curtis III (Curt), Grant, and Jamie Tabscott, Matthew and Kevin O’Connor, Kevin and Eric Wardle, Ken Richmond; Niece Phyllis Miller-Coleman (Wardle); and her daughters-in-law, Shawn and Brandy. Her extended family includes many cousins, great-nephews, great-nieces and many friends who became family.
She was preceded in death by her twin brother Jackson Curtis Tabscott II (Tab).
Mrs. Gula was a retired special needs teacher for the Orange County School district. She lived most of her life in Orange County, CA, where she stayed very involved with her Alma Mater Rancho Alamitos High School. She loved cooking, crafts, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.
A service will be held on March 24, 2023 at 2:30pm, at Westminster Memorial Park (14801 Beach Blvd. Westminster, CA.)
